As you can tell I have modified this blog quite a bit. I ditched the default background and added the one from The Site to unify things a bit. Then I threw in the main menu and configured it’s links and dropdown menu to work like they’re supposed to. I’m going to change the colors and sizes of the text and headings in this session. Add a few widgets to the side bar, and then figure out how to add a sidebar to the left side of the main column. Anyhow it’s about time I jazzed things up around here. One more thing that is bugging me is the the images won’t load in the Flickr widget that I got running over on the right. It loads images via an rss feed from the flickr site and I don’t know if it’s a permissions problem, or a software problem or what. Anyhow I’ll be going through the WordPress forums looking for an explanation and a solution.

For the most part this blog is not finished and I’m planning on using it as a testbed to test out my theories on becoming a Master of The Universe
ok so maybe not but it would be a great way for me to learn more about WordPress and all it’s idiosynchrasies.

I successfully uploaded WordPress and then installed, configured, tested, added widgets & rss feeds to The Loins Mouth.com.

So if anybody out there wants to install WordPress on their site but has no clue how to do it…

I’m yur’ man.

This is my first post using WordPress. The purpose of this blog is to

1. Learn more about how WordPress works.

2. Learn how to style this WordPress blog to my hearts content using CSS.

3. Talk about web design stuff and anything else that is relative to it. In particular CSS. No doubt I’m fascnated with CSS and love using it. I will also talk about some projects that I am working on and showcase my ideas here.

4. Explore PHP and it’s possibilities. I seriously want to learn all about PHP and am considering taking a class, buying a book, and visiting PHP resources online.

5.Talk about things not related to website design and programing. Things that I’m into such as music, film, urban life, art, photography, and some poetry.

I think this will be a good place to share some ideas and learn new things.

I also look forward to hearing from you. And if you have a blog out there that you’d like to show me… well then drop me a link.
